After spending over a decade working in adventure tourism across Canada, Australia,
and New Zealand, Alyssa has been planting roots in Vernon, BC. Since starting her family, she noticed that there weren’t many books about some of the Okanagan’s greatest outdoor family activities. She wanted to share the magic of chasing excitement in nature’s playground with her son, so she decided to start a children’s book series that aims to immerse kids into adventure sports and invite parents to ignite a passion for the outdoors in the next generation of shredders.
Growing up in the Ottawa Valley and now calling Silver Star her home mountain,
she’s always found wonder in wild places— and can’t wait to hit the trails
with her little shredder in tow!
